The Bale Mountains National Park holds the world's largest population of Ethiopian wolves, hunting giant mole-rats across a 4,000-metre Afro-alpine plateau, plus mountain nyala, cloud forest, and some of the best endemic birding in Africa. Safer, quieter, and wilder than the northern circuit — this is the anchor of our south & east itineraries.
